My name is Laurence, I am 48 years old, and I am a bubbly, joyful woman who is passionate about life. For 21 years, I worked as a medical secretary in radiology and oncology in Lille, a job where people played a central role and which deeply enriched me. However, I decided to take on a new challenge: a professional reconversion and a change in my personal life which led me to settle down in the Lot in May 2024.
Today, I am the manager of a charming gîte for two people, La Blanchie Haute, located in Martel. I have found a balance here that suits me perfectly, in a magnificent region, marked by its authenticity, its preserved landscapes and its villages full of character. The Lot, with its green valleys, its limestone cliffs, its meandering rivers and its peaceful atmosphere, is a true haven of serenity. Martel, in particular, is a jewel: a charming medieval village, rich in history and local flavors, where life seems to slow down to make way for the essential.
I deeply love people and human contact. Welcoming travelers to my cottage, ensuring their comfort and sharing with them the treasures of this region is a real passion. I am naturally enthusiastic, warm and optimistic, always curious to discover new stories and build authentic relationships. I am also a great lover of nature: walking along the paths of the Lot, listening to the birds, or simply admiring the landscapes gives me a simple but immense happiness.
This change of life is a rebirth for me. I am proud to have given myself the chance to live differently, in harmony with my values and my desires, and I am impatient to continue to weave beautiful encounters and share this adventure.
